1. Turn the product on. If it is already on, turn it off and on again.
  2. Disconnect all cables from your computer except for the power cord and any USB or Ethernet cables being used to update the firmware.
  3. Click [Next] to start the product update.

- Do not use the product until the firmware update is complete.
- It may take up to 15 minutes to complete the update. You cannot cancel or interrupt the update.
- If the firmware update fails and the product goes into recovery mode, you will not be able to update the product's firmware over a network connection. Connect your computer to the product using a USB cable instead and try updating the firmware again. See the documentation or visit Epson.com to check if the product is in recovery mode.
- If the product is running on its battery, connect the power cable.
